Downtown Derby Classic- HOT TUB, Heated Pool, Firepit, Grill

We recently stayed here over Thanksgiving week. It's a great spot, is super spacious, was very well appointed, and was super comfortable for our party of 7. The host has done a great job adding small touches throughout to make your stay enjoyable - games, supplies for s'mores. My only real feedback is the bathrooms and/or bedrooms could really use a bunch of hooks for wet items such as towels and clothing. We had to get creative to hang things up to dry.

We paid the pool fee the day after booking and pool was not heated when we arrived. Also pooI is very stained from leaves. I had to toubleshoot the issue with host and pool did not get up to temp before we checked out so it was not used. Hot tub was very dirty, my friend owns one so she cleaned, treated and changed the filter so it could be used. I know its off season but the listing specifically mentions its availability and partially why we oicked the house. House was marginally clean after the crew had been there, would suggest a new crew or checking their work. We did have a plumbing issue which the host remedied as quickly as possible. We had to shut the main line off or the basement would have flooded. Neighbors were interesting and loud but we just closed the windows. The house was sutied for what we needed out of the stay.

Great stay definitely will be visiting again. backyard was beautiful. The home was gorgeous .

Enjoyed our stay. Was disappointed prior to arrival as we paid extra for the pool to be heated during our stay, but to our surprise once we arrived we were greeted with a hot tub! Overall had a great stay.

This Airbnb is worth every dollar! Tyler is the best host, very responsive no matter the time, the house is exactly as listed… even better. The pool and hotub are amazing! He even has games for the kids! Definitely will stay with Tyler anytime I’m in town!

This was a charming older home with ample size bedrooms very nice amenities in a very quiet neighborhood. Tyler was a great host and everything was as stated.

Tyler’s place was perfect for what we needed— especially with babies! I appreciate the extra kid-friendly items around the house for our use. The pool was a big hit as well. The perfect setup for coming to race Ironman 70.3 Louisville!

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The hot tub and small pool were perfect for keeping the kids entertained and gave us adults a chance to relax and unwind. The hosts provided thoughtful amenities like a coffee machine and hot cocoa station, which made the stay feel extra cozy and welcoming.The layout worked well for our group, though it’s worth noting that all bedrooms are located upstairs and accessed by a narrow, turning staircase…something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with elderly guests or anyone with limited mobility.The home is in a peaceful location just a short drive from Louisville, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the property and the nearby city attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return.

Place was great! Can sleep a lot of people and was clean! He even had left smore stuff to use! would definitely recommend.

We drove 3 hours to stay the weekend. This place is great for a quiet, relaxing vibe, but close enough to all the fun as well! The house had everything we needed for the entire weekend. The host, Tyler, was in touch, making sure everything was up to par!

It was so duty the place, I could understand how this can happen, the bathroom was so duty , we cleaned it before we used, out side the house , close to the swimming pool , was so duty… never come back again

Gentle suggestion : Post check out instructions , in an easy to find location., Airbnb..would be much appreciated. I had a wonderfully peaceful, and restful visit with my family. Nice older home. Pool is small, but was still nice to use with the heat. Tyler fantastic to work with, very responsive, even added a hot tub amenity which wasn’t in initial listing.

the home was very charming. The floors were a bit creaky but it went with the charm. house worked for us. the cute pool was a hit with the kids too. they had a minor problem with a leak before we arrived but it wasn't a problem for us. I would stay here again.

THAT was both unexpected and such a blessing as we ended up having consistent game time that everyone looked forward to each night. Neighborhood was quite nice. Close enough to walk or bike to downtown and riverfront. As described - had everything we needed.

Brought my family here while in louisville for a work trip that way they wouldnt feel couped up in a hotel. The home was clean cozy and comfortable. The backyard was our favorite. Pool, hottub, fireplace and grill and has a privacy fence. All the beds were super comfy. Tyler provided lots of little goodies throughout the house and was a wonderful host. Would definitely book again.

Perfect sized house in a quiet neighborhood. Had all the enjoyable amenities to stay entertained but also the amenities to sit back and relax. The stay was relaxing and enjoyable!

Awesome house in a great area! You know it’s a good neighborhood when folks are out jogging and walking their dogs. Just minutes from downtown Louisville.

Tyler was easy to work with. Our family met for a graduation party and the house met our needs. There were a couple of small issues that didn’t affect our stay at all and Tyler was quick to work them out. The only negatives we could find were very loud floors, fortunately we aren’t light sleepers, and the upstairs shower was hard to work out. We would stay again.

Kids absolutely loved the pool. Host was willing to drop everything if we had any issues. Will definitely get this place again

We had a great birthday for my son’s 11th birthday. The pool was very warm and he could swim his heart away. When I needed assistance from Tyler he was very helpful and friendly, he actually came right out to make sure everything was working smoothly with the pool. (I was scared of caper smoke that was completely normal for cold weather and heated pool) lol I would recommend his place.

House just as described! The pool was the selling point for us! Even in the beginning of March it was as warm as a hot tub! We had 2 families in town for a volleyball tournament and after a long day of volleyball it was perfect to just relax and unwind. We sat outside by the fire pit and made s’mores ( provided by host!). House is an older home with hardwood floors that tend to squeak a bit, but such great character! I am very picky about cleanliness and this house did not disappoint! We did not cook much but kitchen had everything you need to feel like home. Neighborhood is older, but close to so much!! We even found a little town a few streets away with cute shops and the best little breakfast diner! Tyler was very responsive even prior to booking property and made sure we had contact information throughout our stay. My only suggestion would be towel hooks in bathrooms and garbage can in upstairs bathroom. If in the area we would definitely stay here again!

I am not normally one to leave reviews, but I felt this one was needed. The house itself was old, but we felt was fine for the few days we needed. Within a few hours of check-in, we noticed many things that lead us to question whether the house was even cleaned. Fake nails, fake eyelashes in rug upstairs, a used menstrual pad in the vanity in the bathroom, shards of glass on the living room floor under the coffee table, stains on the bedsheets. Needless to say, we contacted the host Tyler with our complaints, and things were resolved. Tyler was prompt to respond with a resolution. We have stayed in Tylers homes prior without any issues, but this one was a major no. On the brighter side, the heated pool was a great addition to our winter stay. The pool was also dirty, but mainly leaves so we let it slide. Overall, we would not stay here again.

The house was the perfect size and setup for my family. All bedrooms are upstairs so there privacy from downstairs noise. The house was very cozy, heat worked extremely well in the winter. We did not use the pool. Just a note, it’s small but big enough for a small group of people or family with young kids. Great price for the size of home in the area.

Tyler's home is beautiful, with plenty of space. My daughter love the loft area where she slept. The kitchen is equipped with everything to make a big breakfast. We enjoyed sitting out back with the fire pit. We appreciate Tyler's hospitality leaving marshmallows and chocolate bars for the girls to make s'more. A lot of memories were made and I want to Thank you Tyler for opening up your beautiful home.

Host was very responsive and the home looked better in person. Very spacious, clean, and easy to find. It definitely was home away from home. Will be booking for future visits.

We had a great stay, the house was full of beautiful older house charm. We enjoyed sitting outside and using the pool, the neighborhood was usually pretty quiet and peaceful despite how close all of the other neighbors are. Tyler was great, answered texts promptly.

Spacious, great space. We were a party of 6. Perfect space for a family get away. Very quiet neighborhood. Very close to Louisville. Pool and backyard were used by us the most. The rest of the house was just as pictured but felt bigger. Would love to come back and stay again!

This is a nice house. Creaky but comfortable. Could use more thorough cleaning, but mostly what you would expect from an older home. Upon arrival everything looked good, but there were some quirks along the way. Tyler was an attentive host and sent help for the things we needed. All in all, we enjoyed the pool, and the proximity to all the things we wanted to do.

We had a wonderful stay with friends. Our kids ages 3-11 loved the pool and played in it for many hours. Tyler was responsive and helpful. Lots of fun close by in downtown Jeffersonville including Union restaurant, the coffee shop, the pedestrian bridge across the River, and the splash pad/park on the other side. The home could use a deep clean like others mentioned, especially both bathrooms and the outdoor areas. But overall we were comfortable and happy.

Tyler was very responsive. The house was double what we paid in Williamstown for 3 nights stay and not worth the price. The house is in need of deep cleaning inside and outside. Sleeping in the upstairs 3 bedrooms was too warm for our comfort.

I loved it. Wish I could have stayed longer! The little amenities he included such as s’more’s, coffee bar, and even toiletries was a really thoughtful touch!

We were in town for a large basketball tournament. After long days of basketball, Tyler’s place was relaxing and comfortable. From the original wooden floors and cozy rooms to the updated appliances and perfectly-sized pool, it was a wonderful stay! If we return to the area, we will definitely book again.

Overall a fine place to stay. The kids loved the pool. It is an older house and doesn’t cool great and the upstairs sleeping area was very warm. It looks like there was some sort of leak in the upstairs bathroom, it didn’t seem active at the time but the damage from it definitely needs repaired. The house was surface level clean but could certainly use a really good deep clean.

Very nice place and great location

This home was in a great location - close to restaurants, attractions, etc. The backyard was our main hangout. The kids loved the pool. At first the pump wasn’t working, but Tyler was quick to respond and offer to come fix it. We were able to eventually get it going. The inside of the home was less than desired. We found underwear left behind from a previous visitor, dirty dishes in the cupboards, dirty floors that left our feet gross, stained pillows, and overall stickiness. We looked around for cleaning products to clean surfaces and floors but couldn’t find much. We did go buy some of our own. With a good scrub this place could be awesome!

Beds and furniture were extremely comfortable. Lots of room to spread out. Front porch and back yard were great for morning coffee and evening hanging out. Pool was smaller than we were picturing but our 11 year old and 14 year old had more than enough room to play and had a ball. We enjoyed getting in to cool down and relax. Would not say it’s walkable (or at least an enjoyable walk) to town but it’s a quick drive and there is plenty of parking. Great location to enjoy Louisville and come back to a comfy home and relax. Parlour pizza was amazing and we loved the local farmers market on Saturday. Candy shop is closed on Sunday so if you have kids plan ahead! We would absolutely go back! Perfect for our family and would also love to stay for an adult getaway.

The home was very spacious for our two families! My kiddo LOOVED the bed nook in the kids room and was even excited to go to bed. The outside was very cozy and beautiful during the evening.

We loved this place! Spacious and relaxing. We loved the shower head downstairs, and the large kitchen table for games and meals! The beds and pillows were comfortable too. Loved the towels set up in each room for guests. The outdoor area was perfect. There was even a double rainbow when we got there! Walkable to the very cute downtown area as well. Definitely felt safe here, as we were a group of girls. Landscaping was beautiful as well! We had a little trouble with the lock, but it was pouring down rain. Tyler answered immediately and helped us. My only recommendation would be a few hangers in each closet. Thanks Tyler!

A fantastic and beautiful getaway with everything as described. Close to the wonderful city of Louisville as well as closer restaurants and dives. Highly recommended gem for any looking for a pleasant family getaway or small business retreat.

Tyler was great! The place was spotless, and the outside patio and pool were just what we looking for.

First time staying near Lexington although came across this listing in Indiana. We had no idea what the area was like but was pleased to find it was a rather quiet neighborhood. It is an “older” part of town with some nice older homes. With that being said, it was an old home with some minor updates. Kitchen was very, very small although the dining room area was spacious and the table was big enough to seat all 9 of us- so that was nice. Bedrooms were of average size. Mattresses were very firm, more firm than what I like, but still comfortable. Kids room was big enough to sleep 5 teenagers. The only thing that I did not like, and this is just me personally, I would have preferred a more updated/newer home….and that’s just personal preference. Every step you take on those floors, they creek. Upstairs bathroom was small and outdated, my sister saw tiny ants, so that kind of turned her off. Although the downstairs bathroom was a full bath and “newer”, so pretty much all of us used that bathroom to shower. I do appreciate the character of this home, so if you don’t mind an older home, then this is for you. Tyler was great, directions were super easy and communication was not an issue. Overall, it truly was a great stay and the house was nice. Fire pit out back was a great added bonus! The only reason for my overall rating was due to just my personal preference and that’s why I also felt the need to make sure I mention that this is an old home.

Tyler's house has an older character but has been updated to modern amenities. The house is located about 13 minutes away from the Expo center, which made it really convenient. The hot tub/pool gets really hot! The grandkids loved the little pool and air hockey table, and fought over the sleeping nook in the bunk bedroom. I would recommend Parlour pizza and Iron Skillet restaurants that are close by. The steamboat museum was also interesting if you like history. Tyler was Awesome at communication!

I love old homes - squeaky stairs, uneven floors, the quirkiness. Unfortunately, this one looked like someone had given up on caring for it. The air vents were dusty and we were itchy and sneezing. The backyard had at one time been carefully landscaped but now had weeds and the plants were dying. It was sad to see a house with potential be neglected.
